okay,so i got a haircut about 2weeks ago! i chopped alllll my hair off! i now have a really cute,a line bob,similar to the one rhianna is rockin..and i must say,im in love with it!.i did this as a last resort to getting my hair to grow back fuller.i am mixed.half black,half puerto rican.so i grew up with really thick really long.really curly hair.it was BEAUTIFUL.unfortunatly as a child u dont appreciate the luxuries of beautiful full healthy hair,all i wanted growing up was to have straight hair like all my friends.haha.my mom would never let me get a relaxer or put any type of heat to my head,which was probably the reason i had such a beautiful head of hair...no damaging chemicals,or heat....gosh how i wish i could turn back time!.around the time i was about 12 yrs old,i took it upon myself to apply a relaxer to my hair..(oh no) not only did my hair NOT get straight,but..my beautiful locks fell out! i was literally standing in the shower crying! i guess with growing up,discovering my first flat iron and so on and so on damaged my hair horribly! my curls are no longer as full and gorgeous as before and my hair is ridiculously thin....SO i chopped it off.and i am determined to regrow those luxurious locks i used to have!...one of my Favorite youtube gurus is andreaschoice.She has gorgeous curly hair and is absolutley beautiful.most importantly she has a lot of good advice for regrowing healthy hair.i recently tried the coconut oil treatment she did a tutorial on in one of her videos and it has helped my hair SO MUCH already!,my hair feels softer,healthier...just all together happier.i was convinced my hair hated me.haha.but now i feel like we are rebuilding our relationship!

skin care for me and the little one....

i am completely obsessed with skincare! and achieving perfect,oil free,acne free,baby soft skin! so i am always on the hunt for new skin care products.i have tried tons!i recently purchased the biore pore unclogging scrub and i love it!! my face felt soooo smooth and soft aferwards.it made my face have a tingly clean feeling,which i LOVE!!,i was online googling reviews about the product and it has mixed reviews so after a couple weeks of usage i guess ill have an update about how it makes my skin.


i also purchased some neutrogena spf 15 oil free moisturizer....i have extremely oily skin and i have yet to find a good moisturizer for it,so i just picked this up along with my new face scrub.i applied it last night after washing my face,i only needed a tiny bit,the moisturizer isnt greasy at all,its very hydrating and when i woke up this morning my face was very soft still,as opposed to the oily mess i usually wake up to.i'll give it a couple weeks and see how my skin likes this moisturizer.if not,i will be back on the hunt.lol




my daughter also has eczema...ugh,which is terrible because she points to her dry red patches and goes "mommy...oow".she scratches all over and it looks so bad! like im abusing her or something.her daycare has got to think terrible things about me...haha.i recently took her to the doctor and he prescibed her some cortisone cream.but in addition to that he recommended using aveeno soothing relief baby lotion and aveeno baby soothing relief cream wash opposed to the normal johnsons baby wash i use on her.




these two products work wonders for helping control her eczema.She doesnt scratch at all anymore,she has less outbreaks,after only a couple days of using these products her redness from the areas she was scratching cleared up.it is unscented which is wonderful and the moisture stays for quite a while.the best part is she is happier when she isnt itching all the time,so im delighted.

potty training time....

So I decided about a month ago to unpack my daughters potty that she had gotten for her first birthday..shes going on 19months and she grasps the concept of almost everything immediately so I figure I can just get her use to her potty and slowly get her comfortable with it.the bf buys her an elmo potty training video (she is obsessed with elmo) so she sits and watches it and after we all go to bed that night,wake up in the morning and she is running around in the nude!.she had taken her diaper off,I assume,imitating the children In the elmo video she had watched prior to falling asleep!.she had went pee all over her bed as well!.needless to say I was upset,so I put her in the tub to clean her up.and she goes POO IN THE TUB!.she has NEVER done this before so,the only thing I can think of is,she somewhat understood the concept of the video as far as removing your training pants and going potty,she just wasn’t quite there yet.the next day!.the same thing.wake up to my daughter going commando! Thankfully no poo in the tub again.So I decide to wait a while before trying to potty train again.But im thinking its time to break the potty out again! The baby center states its best to start slow and keep your expectations at a minimum.which is what I’ll do.also states to try and let your child learn by imitation,allowing her to copy what I do in the bathroom,or pretending her favorite stuffed animal is using the potty to encourage her to want to use it herself…….we’ll see how it all works out!

so im starting this blog......lets see how it goes.lol

hey all..well basically i decided i would start a blog seeing as im soooo over myspace and im always talking about how i want to write a book!..lol.so,a blog seemed perfect..so,lets begin....im going to try and jam the past couple weekends into this one post to kinda play catch up..:-)

well,im always bugging my bf about not doing anything together..(truth be told..were constantly doing random things together).So easter weekend he says to me..hey,lets go see the hannah montana movie on friday(we can bring jordyn as an excuse to not look like some kind of pervs watching a childrens movie.haha) and then the logandale fair was in town on saturday and well,sunday was easter..so..we can take her on like an easter egg hunt or something........well,not so suprisingly,that was definetly NOT how the weekend turned out.we didnt end up going to see the movie,and it was RAINING in logandale on saturday!!..how horrible!..were in NEVADA it was just HOT on thursday and its raining on saturday..ugh...so...we decide to take jordyn to go eat and depending on what time it was after either go bowling.or to watch a movie.well,we went to sams town.to tgif and then bowling...heres a couple pix from that day....nothing too spectacular...

so basically i suck at bowling ended up hurting my fingers and had to quit..lol..

so this weekend.we decide to take jordyn to the ever popular shark reef.Of course,im totally excited and the bf is like..blah,i use to work there its alright..lol.so we go and it is soooo amazing.i totally fell in love with the jelly fish!...it was funny seeing my daughters reaction to the fish.and OMG i saw theee biggest sea turtle ever.haha.it was crush.from finding nemo.=)











i so have shorts on underneath!.its not a dress,its a shirt,but it is totally adorable!.i love it.


i touched the stingray!....lol.

well now its monday and its BACK TO WORK!...im definetly ready for the weekend again..oh! and not to mention its moving week!.next monday will be the first day in our new place!.yay.the tub in the new place is HUGE!.i cannot wait to soak in there!.i plan on going to ulta in the next 2weeks.after monday we'll be settled in and rent will be paid until june so,time to splurrrggeee..lol.ill be posting a lot tomorrow trying to get all caught up with everything thats been going on the past few weeks.so bare with me.hhaha..til then my loves...
